We will discuss the importance of protecting the Indigenous people's access to land and their original farming techniques.  Agriculture is important to everyone but colonialism removes people from their lands, stealing the farmland and forcing them to adopt farming techniques that are harmful to the people, the land, and to nature.  Join us for the discussion.

In this episode, we continue our discussion on our experience of going on a pilgrimage to traditional Africa as part of the Initiatives of Kebtah, otherwise known as the Indigenous Renaissance Initiative.  You'll hear from Hosts, Neferista Merrusheta, and Shemzheru Tenkawur, focusing on Neferista's experience, how it changed her life, and how this type of journey benefits has benefits for everyone.

Our first episode:  Who We Are is followed up by our  2nd episode: What We Do where we will discuss our Indigenous Renaissance Initiatives, or I.R.I. 
These initiatives are designed to address the needs of indigenous communities facing challenges due to colonial influences and modernity encroaching on their ways of life and survival.  We will share how these initiatives have impacted and benefited us and provided a shift in the way we approach life in this modern world.
